For collecting and saving colostrum (early milk) in late pregnancy.

Starter kit includes:

  • 6x 1mL oral syringes (sterile and sealed)
  • 2x 2.5mL oral syringes (sterile and sealed)
  • 8x syringe caps (sterile and sealed pack)
  • 2x collection/ feeding/ medicine cups
  • 8x labels for your filled syringes
  • Pink fabric storage bag (to keep your unopened syringes and caps safe before use and storage)
  • Pink water-resistant storage bag (to keep your filled syringes safe and together in the freezer, and grab and go if you want to take your expressed colostrum to hospital or the birthing centre) - this bag is labelled "emergency snacks" on the other side, so you can reuse it after your need for colostrum storage is done and you enter the baby/ toddler life!
  • A name tag to attach to the storage bag
  • A mini ice pack (to keep your colostrum cold between your freezer and the hospital/ birthing centre freezer)

I'd suggest popping your storage bag with filled, labelled syringes + the ice pack all together in the freezer, so you can keep it safe and then grab and go as needed!

Additional oral syringes (including 1mL, 2.5mL and 5mL sizes) are also available separately. 

There are a variety of reasons to express breastmilk/ colostrum in late pregnancy - please chat with your midwife or obstetrician if you're not sure that it's right for you!

It is recommended to start no earlier than 36 weeks for most pregnancies, and to stop if you're getting painful or uncomfortable tightenings or contractions.

  • Delivery timeframes are variable, generally between 7 and 14 working days following dispatch

Returns and exchanges

 

  • Eligibility: 
    • If you’ve received a faulty or incorrect item, we’re so sorry! You can return for a full refund (including postage on the original purchase) or an exchange.
    • If you’ve got the wrong size in clothing, or changed your mind, you can return your item/s for an exchange, a store credit, or a refund (but this won't include the cost of shipping).
    • Infant feeding or intimate items (that contact a baby's mouth, or a parent's bare breast/ chest or genital area) cannot be returned unless faulty. 
  • Conditions:  
    • Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in their original sale condition, and clothing is unworn and unwashed.  
    • Please note that infant feeding or intimate items cannot be returned unless faulty, as above. 
  • Proof of purchase:  Please include your receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email with your return.
  • Subject to availability:  All exchanges are subject to the availability of stock. If we don't have the item you want in stock, we’ll be happy to offer you a store credit or refund.

 
How to return an item:

  1. Reach out via email to store@cradled.co.nz - either forward your original order confirmation, or include in your email your order number, what you got, what’s happened, and what you want to do next - return for an exchange (and what you want to exchange for), return for a store credit or a refund. We will check stock and get back to you ASAP.
  2. Return your item. Package your item securely and include your proof of purchase, as well as your return name and address (important!). Let us know when you’ve sent it (and include tracking info if you’ve got it - Cradled won't be liable for lost items in the post).

Processing your return:

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and then process your exchange, store credit, or refund within 7-10 business days. If there’s an issue with the item you’ve returned and it’s not in saleable condition, we’ll get in touch.

  • You will receive an email notification once an exchange has been sent.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow a few extra days for your bank to process the refund.
